When a tree has to come down, do it once

Don't leave the stump

Standard stump grinding gets us six to twelve inches below grade — plenty for sod, mulch, or a new plant. If you're putting in a patio, a footing, or anything structural over the spot, just say so and we'll go deeper.

We grind with a dedicated machine (not a chainsaw and a prayer), keep the chips contained, and rake the area before we leave. If the roots are already into a sidewalk or pipe, we can handle root pruning at the same time so you're not dealing with the same headache again next year.
